Home Instruction Tutoring
Compensatory and Supplemental instruction provided by a certified teacher, who works either one-to-one or with a small group. This program enables the student(s) to continue to participate in the general education curriculum and maintain consistency. Collaboration takes place with the students’ teachers to adapt and modify instruction and assess students’ progress.
Wilson Reading Instruction Program
Wilson Reading System uses an Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction. It is effective in developing the reading skills of individuals with a language-based learning disability or who have otherwise struggled to learn to read. The multisensory instruction uses visual, auditory, and tactile senses to help students make connections between sounds and words. The focus is on enhancing decoding deficits with phonological awareness.
